Elementary School Textbook Adoption

All FCPS elementary schools are in the process of adopting a new reading textbook program for use from 2019-2026. Textbooks are available to review at each elementary school through April 26. Parents interested in reviewing the materials should contact the building principal for additional information.

Instructional Technology Staff Earn Certified Educational Technology Leader Designation

Supervisor of Instructional Technology Coaches Rod Carnill and Instructional Technology Coaches Jenn Rowan and Scott Lewis have earned the Certified Educational Technology Leader (CETL) designation from the Consortium of School Networking. The designation signifies they have mastered the knowledge and skills needed to bring 21st century technology to K-12 school systems.

Change to FCPS 2018-19 School Calendar

Jordan Springs Wolves
Jordan Springs Elementary School Mascot and Colors
03/06/2019
Based upon a vote by students and staff at Redbud Run and Stonewall elementary schools, the Jordan Springs Elementary School mascot will be wolves and the school colors will be navy blue and light teal. Jordan Springs Elementary School, which is being built in Snowden Bridge, is scheduled to welcome students for the start of the 2020-21 school year.
