Evendale Elementary would like all students and parents to be aware of our guidelines for both hybrid and distance learners.
Hybrid students have assignments to complete EVERYDAY (Monday-Friday). These
assignments are graded and must be turned into the teacher. If they are not
completed and turned in, the student’s grade will be negatively affected. In addition, if
a student does not complete work on a day they are not physically in school, they will
be marked absent.
Virtual students are expected to attend all scheduled “live” instructional times and
complete all assignments issued by the teacher. If a student does not attend a “live”
session the parent must notify the office of the student’s absence, otherwise the
student will be marked with an “unexcused absence.” Additionally, students must
complete and turn in all assignments issued by the teacher. All assignments are
graded and if a student does not complete and turn in assignments this will negatively
affect the student’s grade.
Starting on Monday, October 5th, 2020, resource lessons (art, music, library, pe) for
virtual students will be pushed out through Seesaw by Evendale’s resource teachers.
Participation in these lessons is required and students will be receiving a grade based
on completing and handing in assignments.
Evendale students will be taking the i-Ready math assessment between October 5 -
16. This assessment is given in two sessions and will be given in-person for students
who attend on the hybrid model, and in small, virtual groups for students attending in
the virtual model. Additional information about this assessment may be found at this
website:
